Centennial Theatre and Harry Jerome Recreation Centre are celebrating 50 years in our community!
Join us March 5th at Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre as we celebrate the 50th with retro pricing on all public admissions - all day - including fitness, skate and swim drop-ins; just 25 cents for kids, 35 cents for students and seniors and 50 cents for adults. And there will be lots happening at the Centre with special 1960’s themed activities and a photo booth!
Facility hours: 7:30am - 10:00pm
Public swim: 1:30 – 3:00pm
Featuring Groovy music, waterslide with inner tubes, water balloon activities, shaving cream fights, tye-dyed t-shirt prizes and cupcakes!
Family Skate: 1:15 – 2:45pm
Featuring live DJ, hot chocolate, cupcakes plus games on the ice with staff in costume and tye-dyed t-shirts for prizes!
Public Skate: 3:00 - 4:00pm

Harry Jerome Recreation Centre
Since 1966, Centennial Theatre has brought exciting entertainment to North Vancouver where generations of residents have experienced the joy of live performance. And at Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre, thousands of residents have learned to swim and skate, created art, played sports, volunteered, been to summer camp, taken part in fitness classes and so much more.

Did you learn to swim and/or skate with us? Did you participate in your first live performance at Centennial Theatre? Perhaps you met your future spouse backstage? Or maybe you actually attended the Teen Ball in the curling rink featuring The Epics, The Nocturnals, and The Chessmen on our opening weekend back in 1966. We would love to hear from you!
